Church Social Pineapple Salad
Using gelatin, Whipped Topping and crushed pineapple.
Items needed:
2 pkgs. Knox gelatin
1/2 cup cold water
1 cup nuts of choice
2 cups sugar
2 cups grated cheese of choice
3 cups Whipped Topping (such as Cool Whip)
2 (two) 16 oz. cans crushed pineapple
1 jar maraschino cherries
Dissolve the Knox gelatin in the water. Boil sugar and pineapple for 5 minutes. Add to gelatin mix and let cool. Add nuts, cheese, and cut-up maraschino cherries. Fold in Whipped Topping and refrigerate overnight. Serves 16.
