Banana "Monkey" Cookies
"Have some extra bananas around the kitchen that are ready to be used?
, these cookies are bananalicious!!!"
Items needed:2 1/4 cups all purplose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup butter (softened)
2 eggs, beaten
2 bananas, mashed (ripe)
1 teaspoon vanilla
Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large bowl. Mix well. Add butter. Mix well again. Add remaining ingredients, mix again. Place a teaspoon sized balls of the dough on a cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 400 degree F oven for 12 minutes. Makes approx. 3 doz cookies.
