Everyday Biscuits A recipe used for over 45 years..plain, simple & good.Items Needed: Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add milk and mix until dough follows fork around bowl. Turn out on a lightly floured surface. Knead gently and pat to 1/2 inch thick. Cut into circles using a standard round cutter. Bake at 425 degrees F for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 15 medium sized biscuits. |
