Today's Morning Meal
Why do nutrition experts say a good breakfast is THE most important meal of the day? After a long night's fast, it fuels your body with nutrients for the day's activities. Studies have shown that performance of both mental and physical tasks improves with proper nourishment. Both children and adults are more productive and have less late-morning fatigue and faster reaction times when they've had a good breakfast. Eating a morning meal is also more likely to help you control your weight. Eaten at breakfast, even as many as 2,000 calories can result in weight loss compared to a weight gain if eaten for supper. Both more weight and more body fat are lost when calories are consumed early in the day rather than late. So break out the eggs!
